Working With Veterans & Serving Military Across the Globe

As a veteran of several decades of operations in all theatres of warfare including humanitarian service arenas; and working with a unique brand of people of all nationalities and backgrounds. Jointly serving around the globe and being subject to the spectrum of the joys of serving and also the physical and emotional challenges that such a profession provides. I found that working as a civilian was so difficult; mainly because i was trained, moulded and branded to act on orders, yet question and use initiative; trained to react, yet trained to be restrained; I was trained to survive by the forensic attention to detail of planning and meticulous often ruthless execution of orders, yet was also trained and expected to address wrongful actions and stand up for the weak and protect the innocent, even if it meant risking my own life.

This meant that when I left military service and worked for a civil organisation, I was unable to turn a blind eye to wrongs I was asked to do and wrongs that I witnessed; and oh boy did I witness some. This made me incompatible with this corporate world; where sweeping things under the carpet is a way to preserve brand behaviours and keep stakeholders happy. I was so not able to do this and it simply led to frustration and stress.

So I decided to go back to my roots and what I was trained and moulded to do from birth!

Keep It Simple Stupid! KISS - Mission focused, survive to fight, NOT fight to survive, work beyond my own strengths at all times; and never give up, always go that bit further; and above all - If working in a team, "Work to the Slowest person".

"And never do anything - If it does not do something for or benefit others".

Now you know a little more about me, lets get back to why I want to help others, whilst also "surviving to fight"...lol....
